"Yamaha Advantage" is a clear winner. From the introduction pages to the fingering charts, the book is masterfully set up, and superbly paced! My kids are a week ahead of last year's beginners after only 3 weeks of school! All because the first few pages make understanding note and rest durations fool-proof. The Yamaha Advantage Web site is like the director being able to be at each kid's house during practice time. The kids love it! Better yet, the parents love it, which makes them take a more active role in their child's musical progress! Best of all, we directors now have a REAL claim to helping kids use technology, which will please those in charge of curriculums, and be a shot in the arm for our profession!
